Position Overview

The firm is offering a Paid Internship in Intellectual Property Law at its Delhi office. This is a high-stakes, long-term opportunity featuring an assessment period of 4–6 months. Unlike general internships, this program serves as a direct pipeline for talent; high-performing interns who demonstrate exceptional legal acumen and technical proficiency in IP matters may be considered for a permanent Associate role upon completion.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Fresh law graduates or final-year law students.
  • Experience: Prior internship experience specifically with an IP law firm or an IP practice group is mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the Trademark Act, Patent Act, and Copyright Act.
    • Experience in drafting examination responses and trademark oppositions.
    • Excellent research skills and attention to procedural detail.

Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities

  • Trademark Prosecution: Assisting with trademark searches, filing applications, and drafting responses to examination reports.
  • Adversarial Proceedings: Supporting the team in trademark opposition and rectification proceedings, including drafting evidence and submissions for hearings.
  • IP Advisory: Conducting research on complex patent and copyright issues for domestic and international clients.
  • Corporate Support: Assisting in drafting IP assignment agreements and licensing documentation.

Location

Delhi (Sector-8, Rohini – Near Rohini East Metro Station).
