Managing Director, Capital Placement

Job description

The firm is recruiting a Managing Director to lead practice growth in Capital Placement. The role carries P&L responsibility, oversight of mandate origination, and senior representation of the firm to its principal client base and global investor network.

Managing Directors at the firm operate as principals, not employees. The role is structured to attract senior practitioners who want the autonomy to build a practice, the brand and infrastructure of an established firm behind them, and a compensation structure aligned with that of an owner.

The expectation is a substantive existing book, an institutional presence in the relevant market, and the seniority to engage at principal-to-principal level with families, sovereign investors, and large allocators.

Requirements

• 15+ years' relevant experience at the most senior level of the relevant practice area
• Substantive existing book of clients and a recognised market presence
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and team leadership
• Principal-to-principal credibility with families, sovereign investors, and large allocators
• Right to work in the relevant jurisdiction
