£35,600 basic plus £8,000 bonuses structure.

Responsibilities

• People Management – manage, inspire and lead an Assistant Manager and a team of Personal Trainers.
• Brand & Operations Management – ensure the club meets required standards and processes and is lively for members.
• Product – engage with the facilities, demonstrate passion and knowledge of the industry.
• Commercial – raise the club’s profile locally with testing and events, drive new memberships and other commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in fitness industry management: General Manager, Club Manager, Fitness Manager, Deputy/Assistant Manager or Sales Manager.
• For candidates outside the industry, must excel in the above areas and provide transferable examples; Personal Trainer qualification level 3 preferred, level 2 acceptable.
• Energy, personality and ambition; skillset combined with strong character.

Career progression can lead to a larger general manager or cluster manager position.
