Welcome to London's biggest independent pub company. Urban Pubs & Bars was founded in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malcolm Heap and has since expanded to an estate of over 67 pubs, bars and restaurants across London.

Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. This is an exciting time to join a people‑focused and progressive operations‑led business that offers an eclectic mix of properties and new openings.

From leisurely morning coffees to lively late‑night cocktails, Botanica Hall is designed to suit every occasion. Featuring gin tastings, wine, and engaging cocktail masterclasses, it’s the ideal setting for dinners, celebrations, and chic gatherings.

The Role

• As GM you will take full ownership of all aspects of running the venue and will be given autonomy to run the site as if it were your own business.
• Being business savvy and demonstrating great commercial acumen is a must.
• Your team will look up to you; it is essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
• You have impeccable floor, bar and late‑night experience.
• You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.

What we looking for

• "Wear your heart on your sleeve", take ownership, be bold and run the business as if it’s your own
• Be cool, calm and collected, manage pressure with ease, nothing can phase you
• Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a general manager depending on the property being looked at
• Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable
• Superb customer & floor service skills
• Excellent all‑round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction
• An entrepreneurial flare
• Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun
• Personal License holder beneficial
