Overview

An exciting opportunity to work at a well-established practice located in Blackpool has become available. Join a friendly training practice as a Salaried GP. Work within a well-structured and forward-thinking training practice and become part of an organised multi-disciplinary team. You will manage acute presentations of patients whilst delivering the highest standards of care. The practice emphasises work‑life balance and professional development, supports special interest areas and fosters mutual support through regular team and structured educational meetings. The modern purpose‑built site with on‑site parking, low home‑visit requirement and potential to become a GP trainer if desired.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously within the job plan as a salaried GP, including face‑to‑face, telephone consultations, home visits, repeat prescriptions, paperwork and correspondence for self‑referrals or referrals from other health care workers.
• Action share blood test results and incoming clinical documents.
• Assess health‑care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, screen for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, develop care plans in consultation with patients, record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing protocol where clinically appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MRCGP with licence to practice as a GPI
• Two years post‑training experience
• GMC registered
• Included on the NHS performers list
• Full clean driving licence
