Our client is a major public sector organisation and is seeking a Principal Technical Architect (Azure) to play a pivotal role in shaping overall Azure Architecture. Sitting within Digital, Data and Security Services, you'll lead the design and direction of enterprise-wide Azure architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to wider organisational and government strategy. This is a high-impact role, engaging senior stakeholders and driving innovation across multiple programmes.

As a technical leader, you will define Azure standards, frameworks and governance, ensuring best practice adoption across cloud platforms. You'll oversee complex solution design, influence architectural decisions at scale, and champion modern cloud capabilities to enable transformation.

Alongside this, you'll mentor and develop architects and engineers, contributing to a strong Cloud Centre of Excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

They are looking for an experienced Azure architect with a proven track record in delivering complex cloud solutions and establishing robust governance models. You'll bring deep knowledge of Azure security, architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), and stakeholder engagement at a senior level.
