Salaried GP (Fixed Term 3 to 6 Months)

We are looking for a motivated and flexible GP to join our team as a Salaried GP at Westlands Medical Centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within an innovative and supportive practice, delivering high-quality, responsive patient care.

About Us

Westlands Medical Centre is a well-established, forward-thinking training practice based in Portchester, a South Coast village near Fareham. We are a partnership of 6 GPs caring for approximately 10,300 patients.

We operate personal lists, giving GPs autonomy over how best to meet their patients needs. Our innovative approach, supportive culture, and flexibility make this an excellent place to work.

• GP registrars and medical students
• Advanced nurse practitioners and paramedic practitioners
• Specialist nurses in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and womens health

• Coil and implant fitting

Main Duties of the Role

• Routine clinics
• Provide same‑day access care including triage and patient consultations
• Deliver efficient and safe management of acute presentations
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
• When necessary, supervise and support the wider on‑day team including ANPs and paramedic practitioners

Job Responsibilities

• GMC registration
• Qualified as a General Practitioner
• Length of experience not a determining factor, we welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs
