Job description

Hiscox Underwriting Group Services Ltd (HUGS) is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead complex data science initiatives and transform underwriting capabilities. You will mentor junior data scientists and collaborate with various business functions to maximize value across the insurance value chain.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a quantitative field and substantial experience in data science, particularly in machine learning and statistical modeling. A strong ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences is essential, alongside proficiency in Python and SQL.
