About the Team
RSM’s Technology Due Diligence team has an excitingopportunity for an experienced individual to join the eighth largest provider of Audit,Tax and Consulting services to entrepreneurial growth-focused organisationsglobally.
Our Technology Due Diligence practice, as part ofour broader Business Transformation client offering, currently consists of three teams:
- Digital Finance team working with clients to understand how their finance functions work, assisting them to articulate what ‘good’ looks like for them and how they can get there. We work with our clients to ensure they have a Finance function that reflects and supports their vision. We believe in designing a Finance function in which people are key, and technology is the enabler.
- Technology team supporting clients throughout their digital transformation journey from defining a digital strategy and roadmap, creating a business case, selecting the right software, documenting user stories, to managing and assuring projects.
- Data analytics and insights team working with clients to help them understand their level of data analytics maturity and to develop a data analytics strategy that will guide them in achieving their desired level of maturity. We work with clients to identify KPIs and metrics they can use to track progress against their strategic objectives and to assess the quality of their data needed for those KPIs and metrics.
About the role
As part of the team you will be working closely with clients, and it is therefore critical that you can establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective relationships.
It goes without saying that you are a team player, have a ‘cando’ attitude and understand that the best solutions come from collaboration and exchange of ideas.
You will be a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter, who is organised, proactive and inquisitive. Ideally you will already have been involved in Transformation projects and can demonstrate the value delivered to organizations with which you’ve worked. You should be comfortable in managing a team and juggling multiple deadlines.
You will contribute to client proposals and presentations and our clients will see you as a trusted advisor to work closely with them in identifying, analysing, and solving their business challenges.

Requirements
- Extensive consulting/industry experience
3 or more of:
- Experience in technology due diligence and transactions
- Post-Deal Integration
- Carve-outs and Separations
- Experience in industry as CIO/CTO/IT Director/Similar
- A keen understanding of how IT / Technology functions operate, how they support, enable and interact with other business functions
In technical terms they should be able to demonstrate experience of: 4 or more of:
- IT Infrastructure
- Core Business Applications including ERP, Finance Systems, System Selection, Implementation and Support
- Software Development Life Cycle and modern methodologies
- Cyber Security and GDPR/DPA
- IT Performance, Support, Integrations, Implementations and Scalability
- Technology Organisation Structures, Operations and Strategy and Change Management
Ideally, they would also have strong experience / expertise in one or more of:
- Cloud
- AI
- Blockchain
- Digital Twins
- IoT
- ESG
