Property Damage Solicitor (Legal Director), 8+ Years PQE, Manchester, £90,000+ (DOE) – JOB REF: 4444.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied caseload of property damage matters, managing files through all stages of the claims process.
• Deliver a high standard of client service while ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and contribute to the successful management of caseloads across the department.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with insurer clients, brokers, experts and other key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to junior lawyers and assist with their ongoing development and supervision.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of eight years' post‑qualification experience in property damage litigation.
• Strong experience handling third‑party property damage claims, subrogated recoveries, product liability disputes and policy coverage matters.
• A solid technical understanding of commercial insurance law and litigation practice.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Outstanding communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• The confidence to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
• A proactive and commercial approach to client service and case management.
