Senior Manager / Director – Nonprofit Tax

Location: London

Pro‑Tax is expanding its specialized Nonprofit Tax practice and seeks an experienced Senior Manager or Director to provide high‑quality tax advice, build trusted client relationships, and play a key role in developing the practice alongside our tax and audit partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of charity and non‑profit clients across compliance and advisory work.
  • Advising on key non‑profit tax matters, including charity tax exemptions and reliefs, Gift Aid, creative tax reliefs, non‑primary purpose trading, property transactions, charity restructurings, and mutual trading status.
  • Support colleagues with technical charity tax queries.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and win new work.
  • Deliver thought leadership, training and sector‑focused events.
  • Coach and develop junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Strong UK tax experience with a focus on charities and non‑profit organisations.
  • Proven experience delivering both advisory and compliance services.
  • CTA and/or ATT qualified (preferred).
  • Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills.
  • Experience supporting business development and winning work.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.
