Partnership Tax Senior Manager / Associate Director – Manchester Based + Hybrid working. Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus.

Overview

This Top 10 firm is expanding its Partnership Tax team to support a growing client base of professional partnerships, LLPs, and entrepreneurial businesses. As Associate Director, you will deliver complex partnership tax advice across sectors, work closely with Directors and Partners, shape team growth, contribute to business development, and ensure high‑quality delivery across compliance and advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage a portfolio of professional partnerships and LLPs.
• Deliver high‑level tax advisory work including structuring, profit allocations, and partner tax matters.
• Review complex partnership tax computations and returns.
• Support junior team members with technical development and coaching.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for added value.
• Liaise with HMRC on enquiries and technical matters.
• Contribute to internal strategy and help drive growth in the partnership tax offering.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver joined‑up solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong experience in partnership tax, ideally gained in a mid‑tier or large firm.
• Confident managing client relationships, delivering technical advice, and mentoring junior staff.
• Proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills.
• A clear desire for autonomy, variety, and a transparent path to Director.
