FutureGen Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading consultancy seeking a Planning Director to lead its Birmingham growth strategy.
This is a high‑profile leadership appointment for an MRTPI professional with the ability to build client relationships, lead teams and drive significant project delivery across regeneration, residential and mixed‑use development.
The Role:
- Taking ownership of the Birmingham office growth strategy
- Leading major client accounts across regeneration and residential sectors
- Driving business development and new client acquisition
- Managing senior staff and building a high‑performing team
- Overseeing financial performance and operational delivery
- Leading major appeals and Local Plan examination work
About You:
- Proven success winning work and building teams
- Strong developer / investor network across the Midlands
- Strong commercial instincts and leadership presence
