About the pub

This is a two-door, capex-invested site with a solid foundation, but it hasn’t yet reached its full potential. With weekly sales of around £40,000 (70/30 wet-led split), there’s a real opportunity for the right leader to unlock growth across food, drinks, sport and entertainment. The site operates a seven-day carvery and presents a fantastic opportunity to grow food sales by maximising its offer. Alongside this, there is strong scope to drive footfall through live sport and a well-planned programme of weekly entertainment. A solid budget is already in place to support this, but it’s currently underutilised, leaving plenty of headroom for a commercially minded operator to make an impact.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a General Manager with a strong background in high-volume pubs or restaurants who knows how to build a business and drive sustainable growth. You’ll be confident leading a food-led operation, understand how to use sport and entertainment to increase trade, and have the energy and creativity to create a strong weekly rhythm that keeps guests coming back. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on developing teams, improving standards and taking ownership of results. In return, you’ll have the autonomy, investment and support to turn this site into a standout performer.
