Location: Sheffield

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000+ Benefits

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established global manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager for their Sheffield operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business with an reputation for quality, innovation and continuous improvement. As the site's HR lead, you'll play a key role in supporting business growth, developing people strategies and partnering with leaders across the organisation.


The Role

Reporting to the Group HR Director, you'll take responsibility for delivering a broad range of HR activities across the UK operation, ensuring employees and managers receive expert support throughout the employee lifecycle.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the trusted HR partner to managers and employees on all people-related matters.
  • Managing employee relations cases including investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters and performance management.
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Supporting compensation, benefits and salary review processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Coordinating performance management, learning and development initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, reporting and payroll coordination.
  • Supporting employee engagement, communications and organisational change initiatives.
  • Partnering with operational leaders to promote wellbeing, health & safety and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and process improvements across the business.


About You:

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.


You'll ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 7
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • M&A experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, or engineering environments
  • Excellent employee relations and coaching skills.
  • The confidence to influence and support managers at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A professional, approachable and confidential working style.
