Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim Waste Services Technical Manager to support the implementation of new food waste collection requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparations for new food waste collection requirements
- Provide technical advice on waste services and compliance
- Support service planning and implementation
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies
- Work with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop policies, procedures and guidance
- Report progress to senior leaders
About You:
- Experience within Local Authority waste services
- Strong knowledge of waste legislation and policy
- Experience delivering service change or improvement
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
