Liquid Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join the Safeguarding team in Haringey.

In this role you will:

  • Provide management and support which ensures the team delivers a high quality social work service to children and families working in partnership with other statutory and third sector organisations.
  • Ensure that the team of Social Workers, Senior Practitioners and other social care staff are provided with excellent management, supervision, appraisal and personal development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of practice and policy initiatives across children’s services.

Essential requirements of this Social Work Team Manager role:

  • Ability to provide leadership to the team.
  • Understanding of Performance Assessment Framework within the context of high quality social work practice.
  • Ability to supervise staff, assess professional competence, enable further professional development in others, influence and coach others, and raise the standards of other practitioners.
  • Social Work qualified, with valid Social Work England registration.
