People Solutions are looking for reliable and hard working HGV Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our client's established delivery team based in Bristol.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver (2-Person Crew)

Shifts: Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday: Start times from 6.00am

The Role

You will deliver heavy and white goods directly to customers' homes. This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring excellent driving skills and great customer service.

Your Typical Day:

• Active Routes: Complete up to 50 multi-drop home deliveries per shift.
• Heavy Lifting: Safely load, unload, and carry heavy appliances into homes.
• Safe Driving: Navigate efficiently while strictly following Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Customer Service: Greet customers professionally and resolve delivery queries on-site.
• Compliance: Complete daily vehicle defect checks and digital tachograph logging.
• Paperwork: Secure digital proof of delivery and complete manifest paperwork.

What You Need

• Licence: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Credentials: Current Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Fitness: Ability to handle intensive physical lifting and manual handling daily.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Vetting: Must be willing to undergo a standard basic criminal record check.
