Head of Software Engineering – East Midlands

Overview
Brand new role reporting directly to the CEO. Leading the software engineering division overseeing resources, budgets, project delivery, technical architecture, coding standards, DevOps, testing, and technical security.
Responsibilities
- Manage the software engineering division and its resources.
- Control budgets and ensure project delivery.
- Set and uphold technical architecture and coding standards.
- Drive forward DevOps practices and advance testing options.
- Ensure overall technical security.
- Lead the migration of on‑site products to the cloud.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management/director experience within software development.
- Strong background in software engineering/software development.
- Relevant qualifications for the sector.
- Experience with Microsoft stack and Agile practices beneficial.
