Job description
Salaried GP – Ashford, Kent
4–6 Sessions per Week | £11,500–£12,750 per Session DOE | Permanent
A forward-thinking, well-established practice in Ashford is seeking a motivated Salaried GP to join its friendly and supportive team for 4–6 sessions per week.
Committed to delivering outstanding patient care while prioritising the wellbeing and development of its clinicians, this is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a thriving practice and local community.
Why Join This Practice?
- Competitive salary of £11,500–£12,750 per session, depending on experience
- Permanent position with an ASAP start available
- Supportive, collaborative team culture with strong clinical leadership
- Excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression
- Opportunity to work across both routine general practice and urgent care settings, developing a broad clinical skill set
- Well‑organised systems designed to support GPs and promote a healthy work‑life balance
The Role
You’ll enjoy a varied workload across routine GP clinics and urgent care sessions, with protected appointment structures that support safe, high‑quality patient care.
Routine GP Sessions
- No more than 26 patient appointments
- 4 protected appointment spaces reserved for your own follow‑up patients
- No traditional duty team – you will contribute to a Clinical Admin Team that manages incoming urgent requests, meaning GPs support urgent clinical queries from paramedics and nurses without additional booked appointments during these sessions
Urgent Treatment Centre Sessions (Saturday)
- 9:00am–5:00pm
- 15 face‑to‑face appointments in the morning
- 14 face‑to‑face appointments in the afternoon
- 15‑minute appointment times throughout
- Nursing team available during the morning, with additional clinical and administrative support on site
About You
They are looking for a GMC‑registered GP who is committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Whether you’re looking to broaden your urgent care experience or join a progressive practice with excellent support, this role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop your career.
If you’re looking for a practice that genuinely values its clinicians, promotes innovation, and offers a supportive working environment, we’d love to hear from you.
