Health Care Assistants Night Shifts
Pay: £17.00 per hour
Shifts: 10:00 pm 8:00 am (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday)

At MCS Healthcare, we are looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to support a young client living at home with their family in Radstock. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care to an adolescent with a learning disability and epilepsy.

About the Role

You will be supporting a young person in a family home who requires reassurance, structure, and consistent support, especially at night. The client may display behaviours that challenge when feeling overwhelmed, so carers should remain calm, patient, and supportive at all times.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Empathetic, patient, and understanding

• A good listener who can respond calmly to needs

• Confident in supporting behaviours that may challenge

• Able to build strong rapport with the client and family

What Youll Be Doing

• Providing personal and emotional support

• Supporting and managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm and safe manner

• Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring safety overnight

• Supporting with epilepsy care

• Promoting comfort, dignity, and reassurance at all times

What Were Looking For

• At least 1 year of care experience

• A caring and professional approach

• Willingness to learn and follow care plans

• Experience in learning disabilities or similar settings (preferred)

The client is based in Radstock

This role requires consistency and commitment to building trust
