8 Wheel Tipper Driver

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced 8 Wheel Tipper Drivers to work on a supply basis for our valued clients across Darlington and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible work with a variety of respected local companies.

As an 8 Wheel Tipper Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating 8 wheel tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transporting aggregates, construction materials, and waste products
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining high standards of road safety and compliance
• Working closely with site teams and customers
• Adhering to Working Time Directive and driver hours regulations

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous 8 wheel tipper driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of driver hours and vehicle safety regulations
• A professional and flexible approach to work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
