About the role:

The School of Psychology and Humanities are seeking to appoint a Doctoral Teaching Associate in Psychology for a five-year fixed period. The Doctoral Teaching Associate is a career development role combining registration for a PhD in Psychology with the opportunity to gain practical teaching skills and experience. The post-holders will contribute to teaching and assessment on undergraduate programmes in psychology with support provided by senior academics in the School. You will develop your teaching, learning, and research skills and appropriate training will be provided.

About you:

You should have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related subject, a Masters degree in a relevant subject is desirable. You will have proven practical and theoretical skills, along with experience of Psychology activities.

We are looking to appoint someone who can take a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and has excellent presentation and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively and efficiently as an individual and as a member of the Psychology team. An ability to use IT and relevant software packages in the support of teaching and learning is essential.

You will work in a supportive and collegiate manner and contribute to our positive and inclusive work environment.
