White House Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic patient-centred Salaried GP to join our friendly and well-established team for 4 sessions per week. Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP you will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality primary care services to our practice population while adhering to GMC standards of Good Medical Practice
The role includes
- Remote and Face-to-Face consultations
- Managing a varied and rewarding clinical workload
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Supporting and Mentoring other healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the practice

Job responsibilities
Embrace the total triage model to undertake telephone, video and online consults with face-to-face appointments when required
Make Autonomous clinical decisions, including physical examinations, arranging investigations (e.g. Bloods tests, scans) and referring to secondary care, community care or specialists
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long-term conditions
Process of administration in a timely manner, including referrals and other associated tasks
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
Participate in clinical audits, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets and significant event reviews to improve patient care standards, clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives
Attend practice and clinical meetings working within a multidisciplinary team
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the re-validation process
Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development

Person Specification
Experience
- Fully qualified General Practitioner with current GMC registration and a licence to practise.
- Included on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligible for inclusion).
- Evidence of completion of GP Specialty Training (CCT) or equivalent.
- Experience of working within UK General Practice.
- Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues and external agencies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good understanding of current NHS General Practice, QOF, enhanced services and clinical governance.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, appraisal and revalidation.
- Experience of telephone and digital triage.
- Interest or experience in managing long-term conditions.
- Participation in quality improvement projects, clinical audit or service development.
- Special clinical interests that complement existing practice services.
- Experience of supporting care home patients or community-based services.
- Knowledge of local primary care networks (and integrated working.
- Ability to contribute to practice meetings and the ongoing development of clinical services
- Total triage and same-day access models.
- eConsults online consultation systems.
- Population health management and multidisciplinary working within a PCN
Qualifications
- GMC Registered
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- MRCGP
- Inclusion on the performers List
- MPS/MDUS/MDDUS membership
- DBS Enhanced Check
- Experience of working in a GP practice
