IntroductionOverview
We're seeking a Corporate Account Manager to join our Belfast team, supporting the servicing and management of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
This role focuses on delivering high quality client service, providing technical broking support, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Insurers and colleagues.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring client needs are understood, risks are appropriately placed and all servicing activity is handled accurately and efficiently.
How you'll make an impact
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, Insurers and internal stakeholders
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring high standards of client care and retention
- Analyse client business activities and risk exposures in order to identify appropriate insurance and risk management solutions
- Liaise with Insurers to obtain terms, negotiate cover and support the placement of risks
- Support internal strategy and assist in delivering strong client retention
- Take ownership of client servicing activity within your portfolio, ensuring work is progressed efficiently and escalated where appropriate to maintain service standards.
- Produce accurate and professional documentation for clients and Insurers using Gallagher systems and documentation tools
- Ensure all information and activity is recorded accurately and in a timely manner within internal systems
- Maintain strong knowledge of insurance products, market developments and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the wider success of the team by supporting business development and maintaining high service standards
About You
- Experience working within the insurance industry, within a corporate/larger commercial insurance broking environment
- Good knowledge of general insurance including products and an understanding of underlying legal principles and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to identify risks and escalate issues where appropriate
- Ability to work effectively within a team while managing individual responsibilities
