Salary/Benefits Competitive salary in the range of £35k - £40k Full-time, permanent position Clear opportunities for career progression Supportive environment focused on professional development About you Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Experience in transactional finance including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end procedures Basic knowledge of tax regulations (PAYE, USC, PRSI, RCT, VAT) and related payroll taxes Proficiency with ERP/accounting software such as Sage, Business Central, or NetSuite, and Excel Strong communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors Experience in sectors related to construction or energy is advantageous What you'll do Handle daily financial transactions, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, and payments Issue government and client invoices promptly, monitor outstanding debts, and follow up on overdue receivables Manage payroll processing and employee expenses accurately, ensuring compliance across regions Prepare and submit tax returns (PAYE, RCT, CIS, VAT), ensuring timely filings and accurate account reconciliations Reconcile various accounts such as bank, payroll, tax, and intercompany accounts with supporting documentation Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments Work collaboratively with operational and procurement teams to ensure compliance and efficiency If you're interested in further details about this opportunity, apply via the provided link or contact the recruitment team confidentially today.
