Experienced HGV Drivers Wanted in the SK Postcode Area

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for work in the SK postcode area?

Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to work for a variety of our clients across the SK postcode.

With over 50 years of supplying drivers to customers across Stockport, we have built strong relationships with a wide range of loyal clients, allowing us to offer regular work week after week. We have opportunities available Monday to Friday, as well as part-time work for drivers looking for more flexible hours.

Duties of our HGV Driver includes:

• Driving HGV vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all road traffic legislation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintaining regular communication with the branch regarding your daily progress.
• Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.

To be considered, youll need:

• A full UK driving licence.
• A valid HGVCategory C (Class 2) or Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No DD, DR, IN or TT endorsements.
• A preferred 6 months relevant HGV driving experience.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.

Pay Rates:Paid weekly via PAYE
HGV Class 1 Driver:

• £17.93 per hour Minimum 8 hours paid.
• £23.53 per hour After 8 hours

These rates include holiday pay. If you prefer to accrue holiday separately, the rates are:

• £16.00 per hour -Minimum 8 hours paid
• £21.00 per hour- Overtime, After 8 hours

HGV Class 2 Driver:

• £16.81 per hour Minimum 8 hours paid
• £22.06 per hour After 8 hours

These rates include holiday pay. If you prefer to accrue holiday separately, the rates are:

• £15.00 per hour - Minimum 8 hours paid
• £19.68 per hour - After 8 hours
