Job description
We are a friendly, well-established GP practice providing high-quality care to a patientpopulation of approximately 5,700 from a modern, purpose-built Health Centre. We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice initially for 4 sessions per week. For the right candidate, there is scope to increase sessions and develop a longerterm role within the practice. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who canwork Thursdays and Fridays initially from September 2026.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties
Consult with patients face-to-face, by telephone, and online
Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions
Manage long-term conditions and undertake medication reviews
Participate in the duty doctor rota
Order investigations and refer patients as appropriate
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Work collaboratively within the wider healthcare team and PCN services
Contribute to audits and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Our experienced and dedicated team includes three GP partners, a Practice Manager, AssistantPractice Manager, skilled nursing staff, a secretary, and a strong reception team. We take pride inour long-standing, stable workforce and our collaborative, patient-centred approach. As a training practice, we support GP registrars, medical students, and student nurses, offering adynamic and supportive learning environment.We are part of Swan Primary Care Network (PCN), working closely with neighbouring practices todeliver enhanced patient services and improved access to care. Through the PCN, we benefitfrom a wider multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, social prescribers, First ContactPractitioners, and care coordinators, supporting us to provide holistic, integrated care to our patient population.

Must hold valid UK professional registration
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of NHS systems, clinical governance, and patient safety
- Experience using SystmOne
