HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

Driver Require are looking for professional and dependable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team for ongoing, full-time work with one of our prestigious clients. If youre looking for stability, great pay, and a supportive working environment, this is the role for you.

Youll be working as part of a two-person crew, delivering cages and totes to store locations overnight and early mornings.

Start times & shift pattern/Rota:

• Start times: 18.00 03.00
• Friday to Monday

Job Details

• Store deliveries of caged stocked
• Each shift you will work alongside a drivers mate, making your deliveries smoother and easier.
• Guaranteed 10 hours.
• Average Shift Length: 1012 hours
• Paid Breaks relax without losing out
• Overtime Paid after 10 hours!

Pay Rates

• Days: £21.28 p/h PAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)
• Nights: £23.00 p/h PAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)
• Overtime (after 10 hours): £24.73 p/h PAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)
  
  
• Saturday: £24.73 p/h PAYE + (Holiday pay to be added)
• Sundays: £25.88 p/h PAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)

What Were Looking For:

• New HGV Class 1 drivers with minimum of 1 year experience
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points (no major endorsements)
• Flexible and reliable
• Strong understanding of Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
• Ability to pass an assessment and induction (fully paid once passed)
