We are looking for enthusiastic salaried GP/s to join ourclinical team.

The position is salaried with the potential to become a partner in the future.

We are a friendly team with a supportive educationalenvironment.

We are happy to consider flexible working patterns, wouldconsider part or full time and would welcome newly qualified GPs.

Main duties of the job

6 sessions per week - flexible working patterns available

We are offering up to £11440 per session per year, top-up indemnity to the NHS scheme.Six weeks pro-rata holiday plus one week study leave pro-rata.

Start date is flexible for the right candidates.

About us

We currently have three partners, 4 salaried GPs and 2 ANPs.

We are situated on the edge of Weston-super-Mare just a few minutes drive from Junction 21 of the M5.We are close to the sea and rural Somerset.

We are part of Pier Health Group a super-partnership within Weston so have very good working relations with all the other practices in the area.

We work from a purpose built surgery with a car park.

To work autonomously to provide medical services to the practice population, delivering a high standard of clinical care and contributing towards patient satisfaction.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)

Experience

• - Excellent level of clinical knowledge and skills in line with that of an experienced GP
• - Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• - Clear, polite telephone manner
• - Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
• - Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
• - Excellent interpersonal skills
• - Problem solving & analytical skills
• - Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
• - Experience with audit and able to lead audit programmes
• - Experience with clinical risk management
• - Experience of working in a primary care environment
• - Experience of continued professional development
• - Experience of QOF and clinical audit
• - Experience of medicines management
• - EMIS experience
