Branch Partner - South East London

Between £110,000 and £178,000 Per Month

Job description

Branch Partner / Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Practice Ownership Opportunity

South East London | Up to £178,000 Potential Drawings | Veterinary Practice Partnership

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon, Clinical Director, or ambitious senior vet to step into veterinary practice ownership with the support of an established and successful partnership model.

Based in a newly refurbished 24-hour veterinary hospital in South East London, this practice offers the perfect balance of clinical autonomy and comprehensive business support. With a loyal client base, a stable and experienced team, and a dedicated night service, it is ideally suited to an experienced clinician ready to lead a thriving practice without taking on the challenges of ownership alone.

The hospital is fully equipped with modern facilities, including digital X‑ray, ultrasound, an in‑house laboratory, a dedicated orthopaedic theatre, and a wide range of advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment, enabling the team to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a confident veterinary surgeon with previous leadership experience who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and building a successful practice. Working as the clinical leader, the successful candidate will guide and mentor the veterinary team while shaping the future direction and growth of the practice.

Unlike traditional ownership models, this partnership provides the freedom to run the practice while benefiting from expert operational, financial, HR, marketing, procurement, and facilities support. The wider partnership network also enables partners to draw on the expertise of experienced veterinary professionals and complementary business leaders.

Partnership Benefits

  • Monthly profit share alongside a guaranteed exit payment when leaving the partnership
  • Structured exit strategy with projected increases in practice valuation over time
  • Potential annual drawings increasing from approximately £110,000 by Year 2 to £178,000 by Year 10
  • Opportunity to build equity, with projected practice values exceeding £1.2 million
  • Flexible finance options, including deferred payment schemes and competitive lending support
  • Guaranteed minimum drawings equivalent to £75,000 during the early stages should profits fall below expectations
  • Ongoing business coaching, partnership mentoring and strategic guidance

The Candidate

The successful applicant will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon with proven leadership experience, either as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, Clinical Director, or senior clinician with management responsibilities.

They will be passionate about delivering outstanding clinical standards, supporting and developing colleagues, and building a successful, high‑performing practice. Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine commitment to patient and client care are essential.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to combine clinical leadership with genuine business ownership while avoiding many of the traditional risks associated with running a practice independently.

With expert support, a clear financial pathway, defined exit strategy, and the opportunity to build long‑term equity, this role offers an outstanding career opportunity for an ambitious veterinary surgeon looking to take the next step into practice ownership while continuing to focus on delivering exceptional veterinary care.
