General Manager - Student Accommodation

Job description

Homes for Students, the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation, is currently seeking a General Manager for Moulsecoomb Place in Brighton.

This is a 40‐hour per week role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind an exceptional student living experience. You will lead and inspire a team to deliver top‐notch customer service across sales, maintenance and housekeeping, embed our core values and ensure the team excels in their roles.

In September you will take charge of the check‐in, check‐out and room turnaround process, using excellent communication skills to support new students and resolve customer and operational issues.

You will work within the Homes for Students family and benefit from strong regional support as you grow your career.

What We're Looking For

• Leadership experience in a similar role or environment.
• Strong data presentation and analysis skills.
• Impeccable organisational abilities.
• Team player with the power to lead, inspire and motivate.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable but not essential).
