We're looking for a Principal Temporary Works Advisor to join our team nationwide, with a suitable base location.

Location: Nationwide
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

\n

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

\n

What will you be responsible for?

\n

As a Principal Temporary Works Advisor, you'll be working within the temporary works team, supporting them in delivering safe and compliant engineering solutions. You'll advise teams on the effective implementation of the group temporary works standard, ensuring compliance and excellence across our projects.

\n

Your day to day will include:

\n

    \n
  • Advising on the effective implementation of the group temporary works Standard and associated guidance
  • \n

  • Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation
  • \n

  • Undertaking formal and informal compliance audits of projects and frameworks
  • \n

  • Delivering training to Temporary Works Coordinators and other team members
  • \n

  • Supporting investigations and contributing to incident review boards as required

What are we looking for?

This role of Principal Temporary Works Advisor is great for you if:

  • You are a Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CEng MICE) with relevant experience at this level, or have significant relevant practical experience
  • \n

  • Have a strongunderstanding of construction engineering services and temporary works standards
  • \n

  • Enjoy collaborating with clients and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions
  • \n

  • Are trusted to deliver what you promise, acting safely and ethically at all times
  • \n

  • Hold a full driving licence
