Salaried GP – Partnership Opportunity Available
Location: Middlesbrough
Hours: 6–8 Sessions per Week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £10500 per session

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Salaried GP to join their friendly, well-established practice in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to become part of a collaborative team, with the added benefit of a clear pathway to Partnership within approximately six months for the right candidate.
Working alongside two experienced GP Partners, five Salaried GPs and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll join a practice that genuinely values teamwork, professional development and delivering exceptional patient care.

The Role
You’ll undertake the full range of General Practice duties while working in a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face consultations, telephone triage and e-consultations
- Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe safely and make referrals where appropriate
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care
Practice Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and significant event reviewsAttend and contribute to practice meetings and service development
- Support Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) activities
- Assist with in-house education, staff development and clinical governance
- Contribute to practice decision-making as a valued member of the clinical team
Applicants with specialist interests or skills in Minor Surgery or other extended GP services are particularly welcomed.

Our client is a respected, long-established GP practice caring for approximately 9,000 patients in Middlesbrough.
Rated Good by the CQC, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care and enjoys longstanding relationships with generations of local families.
You’ll be joining a stable and experienced team comprising:
- 2 GP Partners
- 5 Salaried GPs
- Experienced Nursing Team
- Multidisciplinary Healthcare Professionals
- Dedicated Administrative and Practice Support Teams
The practice is a proud member of the Greater Middlesbrough Primary Care Network, working collaboratively with neighbouring practices to improve healthcare outcomes across the local community.
Located in modern, purpose‑built premises with excellent onsite parking and nearby local amenities, the practice provides an excellent working environment for clinicians and staff alike.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated GP who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering compassionate, high‑quality patient care.
Essential
- MRCGP (or equivalent)
- Full GMC registration with an unrestricted licence to practise
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
- Current UK professional registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient‑centred approach with strong clinical decision‑making abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Minor Surgery experience
- Additional specialist clinical interests
- Interest in service development and future leadership responsibilities
