About Us:

We are Surrey Heath Community Providers Limited, a GP Federation supporting 7 practices across 10 sites with a total population of over 104,000 patients across Surrey Heath. We also directly run our one of the 7 GP surgeries, which is ‘Upper Gordon Road Surgery’.

The Salaried GP role:

Delivering clinical care, participating in practice meetings, and contributing to the overall functioning and development of the practice. Working collaboratively with the practice team to manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting ensuring the highest standards of safe, effective, patient‑centred care for all registered and temporary patients.

  • 11,000 patient list.
  • Training Practice, owned by a successful GP Federation and linked PCN, with lots of opportunity for professional growth.
  • Supported by a comprehensive team of healthcare professional, including ANP, paramedics and clinical pharmacy team.
  • GP Clinical Director mentorship from experienced GP Partners.
  • 6 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays, plus 1 week study leave, plus 2 NHS days (based on full time working).
  • Daily clinical meeting and coffee break with peers.
  • Total Triage appointment system.
  • Managed ‘Docman’ service to minimise GP document burden.
  • BMA compliant contract.

You will:

  • Proactively support a positive, collaborative culture and our organisational values & behaviours.
  • Be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including consultations, history taking, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
  • Participate in ‘duty’ and triage sessions on a fair share basis.
  • Manage a fair share of:
    -Results, letters, referrals, and clinical administration.
    -Repeat prescription signing.
    -Clinical queries relating to patients.
