Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
Role Summary
As an apprenticealigned to the machine shop function youwill be learning and developing the skills required to use a range of CNC machines including 3 , 4 5, and 10 axis equipment.You will be given the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to be able to setand operate different machine types and carry out total preventative maintenance(TPM) activities, develop the skills required to create programs and understandthe different cutting techniques required for the multitude on materialsrequired to produce world leading media transfer systems. During your apprenticeshipyou will be expected to support multiple equipment types and undergo trainingto support the development of your knowledge and skills.

As anapprentice you will be mentored by our machine shop technicians who will passon their specialist knowledge of machining and process development in supportof your studies.

You willbe responsible for your own quality, safety and the safety of others.

What you'll be doing
Developing the skills needed to safely set and operate complex machinery.
Lean about machine safety.
Develop a safety-first culture when setting machines understanding risk assessment and COSHH.
Develop the skills required to use and understand different metrology equipment.
Learn about continuous improvement, lean and 5S.
Develop the ability to conduct non-conformance investigations including Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions.

Skills/Experience: This is what you'll need to besuccessful in this role
An engineering aptitude demonstrated by previous learning.
Good grades in mathematics and English.
A willingness to learn.
Good communication skills.
The ability to commit to three years of training.
