Head of IT

Our client, a growing technology company, urgently require an experienced Head of IT to join their team on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading significant IT initiatives, with ownership of technology outcomes within a SME or growing organisation
• Strong Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud platforms
• Experience of supporting ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks
• Comfortable in operating at both strategic and hands‑on level
• SC Cleared

Responsibilities

• Ensure the organisations systems tooling and tech services support secure growth
• Shaping and delivering technology roadmap, maintaining a secure and resilient tech environment and enabling adaoption of emerging technologies including AI and automation
• Lead delivery of IT services
• Maintain responsibility for the day‑to‑day administration of technology platforms
• Ensure employees have the tools, systems and support required to work effectively
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, device lifecycle management and user access controls
• Implement opportunities for automation and AI‑enabled ways of working
• Manage stakeholder and 3rd party relationships
