Trainee HSEQ Advisor

Location: Home-based (Local to Teesside) with regular travel to sites and offices across the UK

Are you looking to build a career in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) within the construction industry? We're looking for a motivated and organised Trainee HSEQ Advisor to join our growing QSHE team.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career through a structured training pathway, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the delivery of our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems across a range of exciting projects.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the QSHE team with compliance, audits and inspections.

  • Managing training records, documentation and compliance systems.
  • Assisting with incident reporting, investigations and KPI reporting.
  • Participating in site visits and engaging with operational teams.
  • Supporting ISO management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has a genuine passion for a career in HSEQ.
  • Holds (or is working towards) a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, and NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills with great attention to detail.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office.
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence (or is willing to obtain one).
