This role is primarily night-based (2200-0600 M-Th, 1700-2230 F), with some weekend and bank holiday working as required, along with flexibility to cover other shifts when needed.We're looking for someone who's safety-focused, a strong team player, and confident communicating and solving problems.Key responsibilities:Following health & safety standards to keep yourself and your teammates safeProvide responsive engineering support to maximise machine availability, efficiency, safety, and qualityDiagnose faults and implement effective, long-term reliability improvementsMonitor and adjust equipment to achieve right-first-time qualityCarry out preventative maintenance, calibrations, and safety checks to maximise utilisationSupport continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement projectsAssist with installation and commissioning of new equipmentWork during planned shutdowns as requiredCommunicating effectively across shifts for smooth handoversSupporting continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiencyWhat we're looking forApprenticeship trained or HNC qualified in an electrical or mechanical discipline (essential)A team player with a positive, can-do attitudeStrong communication and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work different shifts and overtime when neededExperience in supporting a manufacturing facility (essential) with a preference for packaging sector experience (desirable)What We OfferCompetitive salary & benefits, including annual leave, pension, and a Cycle to Work schemeOngoing training and development opportunities24/7 confidential support for you and your familyFlexible working options and family-friendly policiesGuaranteed interview for candidates meeting essential criteria (Disability Confident Employer)Ready to make an impact?
