Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington.

Job Role\n

\n
• \n Safely moving trailers and vehicles around the yard.

\n

• \n Coupling and uncoupling trailers.

\n

• \n Positioning vehicles at loading bays.

\n

• \n Carrying out basic vehicle checks.

\n

• \n Ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.

\n

• \n Following site safety rules and procedures at all times.

\nCandidate Requirements\n

To be considered for this role, you must:

\n

\n
• \n Hold a valid UK driving licence C+E.

\n

• \n Have previous shunter or yard experience (preferred).

\n

• \n Be confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard environment.

\n

• \n Have a good understanding of health & safety.

\n

• \n Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

\nPay Rates (PAYE-holiday pay included in rate) \n

\n
• Monday to Friday - Day £18.09 / Night £19.50 per hour.

\n

• Saturday & Sunday - Day £20.90 / Night £22.00 per hour.r.
