We are looking for a Market Insight Analyst to join our Planning team and play a key role in informing the University's student recruitment, portfolio development and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
As Market Insight Analyst you can expect to be involved in:
- Leading market research and insight projects to support student recruitment across UK and international markets.
- Analysing market trends, prospective student behaviours and competitor activity to identify opportunities and emerging challenges.
- Translating complex data from multiple sources into clear, engaging reports, presentations and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the University, particularly in External Engagement, to deliver research that informs strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the UK higher education landscape and student recruitment market.
- Excellent report writing and data visualisation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience of managing research projects.
- Strong digital and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making through evidence‑based insight.
