As Student Support Team Leader at Stanmore College, you will play a key role in leading the teams that provide frontline support, helping to create an environment where students can thrive both personally and academically.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive leader who can motivate and develop staff, build strong relationships across the College, and ensure students receive timely, effective support. Through your leadership, you will help promote wellbeing, positive engagement, safeguarding, and attendance, making a meaningful contribution to the overall student experience.

The Role
Working within Student Services, you will lead the Student Advice & Safeguarding and Student Liaison teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services that promote student wellbeing, engagement, attendance, and safeguarding.
You will:
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of Student Support professionals, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for learners.
- Coordinate safeguarding, wellbeing, attendance, and pastoral interventions, ensuring students receive timely and appropriate support.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams, parents/carers, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and improve student outcomes.
- Monitor team performance, analyse data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of student support services.
- Act as a Safeguarding Officer, responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns and supporting a safe and inclusive College environment.

Salary: £39,368 - £44,835 per annum.
