Senior Legal Cashier Role Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Legal Cashier to join a long established law firm based in Liverpool. You will be joining and leading a small but busy accounts team, and will be responsible for all cashiering duties, reporting into the Practice Manager.

Senior Legal Cashier Responsibilities:

• Processing client and office account transactions
• Processing bills and client payments
• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Processing CHAPS, BACS, and cheque payments
• Managing credit card transactions
• Monitoring and managing client account balances
• Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
• Responsible for month-end processes and VAT Returns
• Other cashiering and accounts tasks as and when required

Senior Legal Cashier Experience Required

• Experience as a legal Cashier in a law firm environment
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational skills and communication skills
