Supported throughPEACEPLUS, a programme managed by theSpecial EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), Mencap NI Youth is recruiting enthusiastic, motivated and committedYouth Workers to join ourEmpower to Transform (E2T) team. Empower to Transform is an exciting PEACEPLUS programme designed to support young people aged 1424 to: Develop confidence, resilience and independence Build positive relationships with people from different backgrounds Strengthen employability and leadership skills Become active citizens within their communities Achieve positive personal progression and fulfil their potential As part of this innovative programme, you will help create safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities that support young people to have their voices heard, develop new experiences and make a meaningful contribution to society. As a Youth Worker, you will: Deliver creative and engaging youth work programmes and activities Support young people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations Promote inclusion, participation and co-production Build young people's confidence, skills and independence Foster positive relationships and good relations across communities Act as a positive role model, mentor and advocate for young people Why join Mencap NI Youth?
