Counterbalance Forklift Driver 80% FLT / 20% Warehouse

Shift: 4 On / 6 Off 12-hour rotating shifts (2 Days / 2 Nights)
Salary: £25,000 starting salary £14.46ph pay increase after probation

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is 80% forklift driving and 20% warehouse duties, supporting production by ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely to transport materials throughout the site
• Carry out warehouse duties including stock movement, housekeeping, and general operational support
• Complete material movement transactions using a computer terminal
• Ensure production lines are supplied with materials to maintain continuous operations
• Perform routine checks on equipment and report any faults promptly
• Maintain IT equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), and storage areas
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Ability to work a 4 On / 6 Off rotating shift pattern (2 Days / 2 Nights)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Good computer skills with the ability to complete system transactions
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Experience using Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
