Your working arrangements will be flexible, based on the needs of the role, our customers and your preferences (agreed with your manager). Our offices are in Seaham and Bishop Auckland, and this role will require an on-site presence in Seaham for part of the week.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly capable organisational development (OD) and resourcing professional to develop our organisational capability now and for the future. If you thrive working at pace and have a passion for leading high impact OD and change projects that support organisational transformation, then we want to hear from you.

You’ll work as one of three Strategic Culture Partners to identify culture and organisational development solutions that support business transformation. You’ll act as a credible and trusted partner to our senior leaders, creating local and organisation-wide initiatives aligned to corporate strategy and business ambitions.

About you

You will have broad experience in a range of people and OD activities, ideally with demonstrable experience of supporting an organisation through significant transformation. Able to easily see the bigger picture, you have a proven ability to translate strategy into practical, people focused solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

You enjoy using people insights and data to inform your thinking and proactively look ahead to anticipate possible needs, outcomes and impacts of initiatives. You’re comfortable working with ambiguity and approach evolving priorities with an adaptable mindset and an ability to get things done. You also have a genuine passion for making a real difference to our customers through our people and our business.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver the people and culture strategy and liaise with other Transformation and Culture teams, tapping into their specialisms which will include People, Transformation, Innovation, Marketing and Communications
• work closely with Senior Leadership and Executive Management Teams to support and enable delivery of their directorate and corporate goals by providing guidance on all matters of culture change, people development and talent management
• shape and develop the organisation to evolve and support a fluid and inclusive workforce
• develop and deliver a future-proof colleague experience and offer, making believe housing the employer of choice.
