HGV Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver

Fawley, Southampton

Long-Term Contract| £17.70 per hour | £26.55 overtime | Paid training | Immediate starts

Solid, regular work through to May/June next year, with the opportunity to return on contract annually.

Youll receive fully paid classroom and practical training and consistent, planned work through to at least May/June next year. Drivers who perform well will also have the opportunity to return annually, providing reliable seasonal work year after year.

This is a proessional, structured contract with the training, equipment & ongoing work already in place, this is not a short-term assignment.

Your Shifts

• Day shifts
• Typical start time of 6:00am
• Average shifts of 810 hours
• Additional hours paid at the overtime rate (after 45 hours)
• Some flexibility may be required during busy periods

The Job

Youll deliver gas products safely to commercial and domestic customers across the region.

The work includes:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle in line with ADR regulations
• Completing scheduled deliveries to customer locations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic records
• Following all transport, safety and operational procedures
• Providing a professional service to customers

Youll receive comprehensive classroom and practical training before completing the role independently.

What You Must Have

• Valid Category C/Class 2 HGV licence
• Valid ADR licence covering Tanks and Packages
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points
• No DR, DD or IN conviction codes
• A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach
