Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks, to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving and delivery operations will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, secure, and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling of goods during transit
• Plan optimal delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines and maximize efficiency
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
• Follow all company policies related to driving hours, safety procedures, and cargo security

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving record
• Delivery driver experience preferred, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial driving
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
