HGV 2 Driver Bristol

Location:Patchway
Pay: £16.00 per hour (first 12 weeks) | £32,000 per annum upon permanent employment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am start, finishing between 4:00pm and 6:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP

Were currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our clients growing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment with no weekend work.

The Role

• 24 deliveries per day.
• Goods are unloaded using a forklift, meaning no heavy manual handling or humping and bumping.
• Some days will involve shunting vehicles around the site.
• Monday to Friday only enjoy your weekends off.
• Ongoing temporary assignment leading to a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Pay & Benefits

• £16.00 per hour during the 12-week temporary period.
• £32,000 annual salary once permanent.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A positive attitude with excellent reliability and timekeeping.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
