HGV Class 1 Driver - Day Shifts - Redditch

Immediate Temp-to-Perm Opportunity - £40,000 per year

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Redditch. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering an immediate start with the chance to secure a permanent position paying £40,000 per year.

During the temporary period, you'll be paid £17.00 per hour (PAYE) before transferring onto a permanent contract.

The Role of a HGV Class 1 Driver :

This is role will include some trunking but you will be expected to complete store deliveries to retail locations across the UK.

Your duties will include:

• Delivering goods to stores on scheduled routes
• Assisting with unloading deliveries where required
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following all health and safety procedures, including wearing the correct PPE

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
• A reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred
